He studied mechanical engineering and economics at the Technical University of Graz. He has 20 years of industrial experience. He started his career with the development of commercial and large engines between 2004-2013. He served as the chief engineer for the development of passenger vehicle exhaust aftertreatment between 2014 and 2018, and has been managing innovative projects as the commercial engines development manager since 2019.

Its important projects include simulation projects (concept and layout) for future emission legislation, development projects for passenger vehicles, light, medium and heavy-duty applications (mass production), R&D projects for future emission concepts and research into alternative fuels such as hydrogen, methanol, NH3. He also has experience working with OEMs in Europe, USA, Japan, Russia, China and India. He currently serves as Ignition Compression Engines Manager in Martin Wieser's Commercial Engines Development Department.
