Digital Transformation Director at Maxion Wheels

Murat Ateş has completed his education in Electronic Engineering and has over 20 years of experience.  He started his career in 2004 as a Maintenance Electrical Engineer at “Ege Endüstri”. He then served as a Maintenance Electrical Engineer and Maintenance Chief at “Hayes-Lemmerz Inci Jant San.” In 2009, he gained experience as an Energy Specialist.

 

In September 2011, he was promoted to Maintenance Manager and continued his career in this direction. In January 2018, he expanded his responsibilities as Technical Manager and concurrently served as Digital Transformation Manager. Since November 2018, he has held the position of Director of Digital Transformation for Maxion İnci Wheel Group’s Turkey Operations.

His areas of experience and expertise include rim factory setup, machinery and infrastructure projects; investment and installation management; maintenance management systems; energy management systems; automation and robotics; digital transformation; and Industry4.0

 

He is involved in university/industry collaboration, serving as a consultant for the control and automation laboratory at Department of Electronic Engineering, Celal Bayar University and participating in a project for the establishment and development of mechanical maintenance and electrical maintenance classes at the  Manisa Industrial Park Vocational and Technical Private High School

 

Additionally, he holds active roles in Non-govermental organizations, including membership in the Industry Advisory Board of Celal Bayar University, the innovation center technology working group of Manisa Organized Industrial Zone, and the OTEP Digital Transformation Working Group.
